Cooper’s CSA Farm – Fall Harvest Festival Terms & Conditions
Effective Fall 2025
By purchasing a ticket and/or entering Cooper’s CSA Farm for the Fall Harvest Festival, you (hereafter referred to as “the patron”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions:
1. General Acknowledgment
“The patron” refers to the individual attending the event. If you purchase tickets for others (your “party”), you are responsible for ensuring they read and understand these Terms & Conditions.
You are responsible for your own actions and the actions of anyone in your party, including minors.
2. Farm Environment & Agritourism Acknowledgment
Cooper’s CSA Farm is a working farm offering seasonal agritourism activities such as corn mazes, wagon rides, hay climbs, and U-Pick pumpkins.
By entering our property, you are voluntarily choosing to participate in activities that involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:
Uneven or muddy ground
Exposure to natural elements (wind, heat, insects, rain, etc.)
Use of physical features like the hay climb or maze
Interaction with farm animals
Accidental contact with tools, fencing, or crops
Under Ontario’s Agritourism Act, 2024 (S.O. 2024, c. 38), Cooper’s CSA Farm is not liable for injury, death, loss, or property damage resulting from these inherent risks, provided we have taken reasonable precautions for your safety.
This liability protection does not apply in cases of:
Gross negligence
Reckless disregard for safety
Willful misconduct
Guests must follow all posted signage and instructions from staff. Disregarding safety measures is done at your own risk and may result in removal from the property without refund.
3. Prohibited Conduct
To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment, the following are strictly prohibited:
Smoking, vaping, or open flames anywhere on the property, including in and around the corn maze (due to extreme fire risk)
Alcohol consumption
Aggressive, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior toward staff, animals, or other guests
Violations of these rules may result in immediate removal from the property without refund. Legal action may follow in the case of damage or endangerment.
4. Assumption of Risk & Personal Responsibility
By visiting the farm, you acknowledge and accept the risks involved in participating in outdoor and farm-based activities. These include but are not limited to:
Trips, slips, or falls
Minor cuts, insect bites, or exposure to allergens
Accidental contact with natural or farm equipment
Cooper’s CSA Farm is not responsible for injuries or damage unless caused by proven negligence beyond the scope of assumed risk. All incidents are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
5. Weather Policy
The Fall Harvest Festival operates rain or shine. No refunds will be issued due to undesirable weather conditions.
In the event of dangerous weather (e.g., lightning, high winds, or government-issued weather alerts), the farm may close. If this occurs, affected patrons will receive a credit to rebook during the current or following Fall season.
6. Refund & Rescheduling Policy
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
Tickets are tied directly to our staff scheduling, safety preparations, and pumpkin harvest volumes. Once booked, your spot is reserved and cannot be refunded.
Our event runs in most weather conditions and no-shows are not eligible for refund.
Need to reschedule?
You may reschedule your visit within the 2025 Fall season for a $5.00 administration fee, as long as you contact us before your scheduled time slot.
To rebook, email: info.cooperscornmaze@gmail.com
If your booking has passed and you simply missed it, rescheduling is not guaranteed, but you are welcome to contact us and we will evaluate your situation on a case-by-case basis.
If the Fall 2025 season ends and no further dates remain, we may offer to move your booking to Fall 2026, depending on the circumstances and availability.
Exceptions:
If Cooper’s CSA Farm cancels your visit due to weather or unforeseen issues, you will receive a credit at no cost to rebook.
7. Dog Saturday & Service Animal Waiver
This section applies to anyone attending a Dog Saturday or visiting with a service animal.
Dog Saturday Policy
Dogs are allowed only on designated Dog Saturday dates and during your reserved time slot.
Dogs must remain leashed at all times with a secure, non-retractable leash.
Dogs must be well-behaved and non-aggressive. Aggressive or disruptive dogs may be asked to leave with no refund.
You are required to bring your own waste bags, water, and treats and must clean up after your dog immediately.
You accept full responsibility for your dog and its behavior while on the property. Cooper’s CSA Farm is not liable for any incident involving your dog.
Service Animal Policy
Service animals are welcome during all operating days and do not require a ticket. However:
Only legitimate service dogs trained to assist with a disability are permitted.
Under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and guidelines from the Canadian Association of Service Dog Trainers (CASDT), emotional support animals are not recognized as service animals.
We may ask for:
A doctor’s note or letter from a regulated health professional, or
Proof of certification from a recognized training organization (e.g., CASDT or ADI)
Service dogs must wear visible identification (vest, patch, or harness) and remain under control at all times.
In the event of an incident involving a service dog, we may request contact information and documentation for follow-up.
Cooper’s CSA Farm reserves the right to remove any animal from the property if it poses a risk to other guests, animals, or staff.

The assumption of risk
Refund and rescheduling policies
